Laws of the Site

Hello, and welcome to Disclosed Salem. An rp that focuses around a town that is not just any ordinary town but one filled with horror. If anyone of you have heard of Silent Hill then the basics of this town work like Silent Hill in many ways. Even so I would love to go over some basic rules for the site so we can all be on the same page!~

General Rules

1. Once registered within our site we ask that you start your application immediately or as soon as possible. We give everyone atleast two weeks to get their first application into the site.
2. Applications that are started but not finished within a reasonable amount of time such as two weeks will then be moved and or deleted unless we are told otherwise by a message from you.
3. [If your application is not accepted please do not began to role play or do anything onto the site until accepted.
4. We only allow one account per a user meaning you will make multiple accounts for this site if you have more then one character. If you do not know how to make multiple accounts the please (Check this out)
5. To stay on the same page we are going to be writing in third person and use past tense since that is what most role playing sites use. So nothing different here, really!~
6. No powerplaying, meta-gaming, mary sues and or gray stus. Keep the role playing fun after all we are not all perfect and we certaintly don't need to control other player's characters!
7. When roleplaying and are wanting a major event such as being attacked by a certain monster or heck even being killed off then make sure your role playing panther is okay with it.
8. Finally above everything just have fun! We don't have many rules as I feel they aren't needed. We're here to have fun and the role play is really up to you guys.

Character Rules

1. You may play as many characters as you want but all of them most be active on the forum.
2. We only allow players to have any age of a character except for newborns, toddlers and basically anyone under the age of six years old. You may play as a child but we highly suggest you have them find someone to take them in after all, this is a horror rp!
3. We allow family pets such as dogs and even cats but nothing more as the site believes everything else wouldn't make it.
4. When joining Salem you will often find yourself in a new location within town because just as you enter pass the side you black out. So for the first post place your character anywhere but the Church, please.
5. As of right now you cannot escape the town and so you will have to deal with your new environment. You may try to plan an escape or talk about it, but you cannot actually succeed.
6. As far as monsters go you can basically play any kind of monster you want. It can be a monster from creepypasta or something you made up! Be creative
7. Deaths may happen within the site, but make sure both parties agree. I don't want a monster going around and killing everyone! Make sure the person with the character agrees with the terms first.
8. Finally the site isn't all about death. Yes, horror movies often show death but most of the time the 'monsters' mess around with their kill. So be creative guys this is suppose to be fun for both parties!~
